Relaxing River Views
“I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the RV resort, especially the serene riverbanks along the gentle Red Deer River. It was a perfect escape, allowing me to set my lawn chair by the river and listen to the soothing flow of water. The peaceful atmosphere was upgraded with the golden leaves falling from the trees around me, creating a relaxing vibe.” view full review
Canoeing Adventures
“One of the highlights of my visit was watching kayakers and canoeists launching their crafts at the nearby Bleriot Ferry. I felt compelled to try it myself! The easy access to the river made it perfect for those who love water sports, adding an element of adventure to my camping experience.” view full review
Kid-Friendly Campground
“The resort's family-friendly atmosphere really stood out during my stay. I noticed various play areas where kids could safely enjoy themselves, although I do think some updates could enhance this. My children had a blast running around and making new friends in a space that felt secure and enjoyable.” view full review
Comfortable Camp Sites
“Camping here was a real joy due to how spacious and well-laid-out the sites were. I had enough room to set up my trailer comfortably, and I appreciated the ample space between different sites, nice for a sense of privacy while still being part of the community. It made our stay incredibly enjoyable.” view full review

My stay at Dinosaur Trail RV Resort was overall decent, but it had its ups and downs. The park was clean and well-kept, which I really appreciated. However, I was not too thrilled about the rocky site we got, and the showers could use a few improvements. The small fire pits were a bit annoying too, but we made the best of it.
We stayed in a cabin and it was spacious but not worth the $199/night due to an uncomfortable pullout couch.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, making check-in easy and pleasant.
The park's location is great, just a short drive from Drumheller and close to attractions like the Royal Tyrrell Museum.
I didn't dine on-site, but the park offered cooking facilities that worked fine for my needs.
Facilities were clean and relatively modern, but the showers were hit or miss and I had issues with the water temperature.

My stay at Dinosaur Trail RV Resort in Drumheller was quite disappointing. While I appreciated the proximity to several family-friendly attractions, the amenities and service left much to be desired. The cleanliness of the washrooms was subpar, and the rental experience was marred by poor management communication.
The accommodations were cramped and basic, lacking essential facilities in our trailer for convenience.
While some staff members were pleasant, the management's response to our concerns was unhelpful and created much frustration.
The resort is well-situated for exploring Drumheller and its attractions, but accessibility could improve.
We had to find dining options elsewhere, as the on-site options seemed limited and not appealing.
The pool and washrooms did not meet expectations; I found the cleanliness and functionality lacking significantly.

I recently stayed at the Dinosaur Trail RV Resort and overall had a good experience, but there were some minor issues. The scenery is absolutely stunning, right in the heart of the badlands, and the heated pool is perfect for warm summer days. However, I did encounter a few maintenance issues during my stay that needed attention, particularly with the cleanliness of the showers and the condition of the cabin we rented.
The cabin I booked needed serious repairs, with plumbing issues and a non-functional TV.
While the staff were friendly and helpful, I did experience some frustrations with the reservation system and received a rather heated response from management.
The location is fantastic, offering amazing views of the badlands and the calming river nearby.
The camp store had reasonably priced items, which was convenient for grabbing essentials.
Facilities like the pool and laundry area are nice, but they had cleanliness and maintenance issues during my visit.

I had a mixed experience at Dinosaur Trail RV Resort. The cabin was spacious but poorly located, with some uncomfortable sleeping arrangements, while the heated pool was still cold during my visit. It feels like it used to have better management and cleanliness, which is disappointing considering the price I paid.
The cabin was spacious but poorly located near a dust pit, making it uncomfortable. The pullout couch was so bad that we ended up using an air mattress. The queen bed was a bit better, but not worth the price.
Staff were responsive to feedback, but there seemed to be a lack of genuine care about guest experiences. The management could definitely improve.
The cabin's location was unfortunate, right next to a dust pit with no shade or protection from the wind.
While I didn't dine out much, I had access to a kitchen but had to rewash the dishes before using them. Limited kitchen supplies as well.
The resort had a heated pool that was not operational, which was a major letdown for my kids. The laundry facilities were not mentioned.

I had a disappointing experience during my stay, primarily due to the manager's behavior and the lack of attention to the facilities. The cabin was spacious but not comfortable enough for the price. The location was nice, but I expected more from the amenities provided.
The cabin was relatively spacious, but not worth the $199/night. The pullout couch was uncomfortable and the queen bed had poor sleep quality. The cabin also needed proper cleaning and better kitchen supplies.
The attitude of the manager was unprofessional. she reprimanded my kids for no reason and was dismissive when I raised concerns about other campers. Staff did not enforce rules properly.
The campground's location was decent, providing a nice setting for camping. However, the lack of cell service should be noted for future guests.
Did not utilize dining facilities, but a need for better options and service was apparent, especially based on the manager's attitude.
The bathrooms were often dirty and not cleaned adequately, and the advertised pool was cold and not functioning properly. Amenities were lacking, and maintenance was poor.
